![]() If it gets cursed, the way to it is likely open to more than just Aliens in the first place. Resist Curse, on the other hand, is nearly useless, as Aervanta only relies on abilities for defense. Naturally, as a stat-based unit, Aervanta benefits highly from Health and Damage upgrades, which should be given to it once it is already boosted by Catseyes. Weaken can synergize quite well with Dodge, letting Aervanta tank more individual hits and giving it more chances to activate its Dodge ability. Of course, Weakening such enemies would further improve this, making Aervanta extremely good against long ranged enemies, even without the dodge. However, this talent does depend on some level of luck. Where it matters most, however, is against Cli-One, Spacefish Jones, or other foes who hit far behind their target, as Aervanta would be able to stay alive longer and contribute more. This helps it quite a bit, making it a rather viable generalist Long Distance attacker too, with good damage, low cost, and shorter cooldown than many to make up for a lack of survivability against non-Aliens.ĭodge can make this unit last quite a bit when it gets attacked, often allowing for others to relieve it of the enemies that are attacking it. This set of abilities, however, open it up to being used against enemies who cannot be reached without entering their reach, as this unit would then be able to tank hits alongside the meatshields, while still being protected from enemy frontliners by said meatshields.Īervanta simply gains a decent stat boost. However, due to Erphuan's difficulty in repositioning, it is ineffective against UltraBaaBaas who manage to enter its blind spot.ĭespite its resistance, Erphuan still suffers from a blind spot, mediocre base health and only two knockbacks, which cause it to fall rather easily still, so protecting it as if it was frailer should be a top priority when using it. ![]() Long Distance Barrier-Breaking attacks are Erphuan's selling point, making it an extremely consistent Barrier Breaker who may help you crush all the Barriers in a stack of enemies that may start being damaged immediately as it reaches the frontline. In Cats of the Cosmos, send Aer to back up your units, for Aer has good survivability for when it gets reached and it can contribute with decent Long Distance damage.Īer, as a spammable sniper, bears a resemblance to Vaulter Cat, with 50 less standing range, but more health. That said, Aer is screwed if a short-ranged enemy manages to get close, for it can't hit things right next to it and is prone to taking damage. Like most Uber Rares, Aer must be properly protected with meatshields to be of any use, but remember that it can tank a lot of damage from Aliens too.
